We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic fintech team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, ensuring the robust operation of our financial applications.
You'll leverage your expertise in modern DevOps practices to build automated solutions, optimize performance, and uphold the highest standards of data security and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform to ensure consistent and reproducible environments.
- Build and deploy serverless applications and microservices leveraging AWS Lambda.
- Containerize applications using Docker for efficient deployment and resource management.
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity.
- Implement and maintain data visualization dashboards using Apache Superset.
- Ensure all systems and processes adhere to HIPAA compliance standards and other relevant financial regulations.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and security teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed to support critical systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a DevOps or SRE role, with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure.
- Expert-level proficiency with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
- Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda for serverless application development and deployment.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Docker for containerization.
- Extensive experience managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Apache Superset for data visualization and reporting.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with HIPAA compliance in a production environment.
- Prior experience working in the finance industry is essential, with an understanding of financial data and security requirements.

- Experience with medical billing systems or related healthcare financial processes.
- Familiarity with other monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline).
- Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional).
