About the Opportunity

Pragmatike is partnering with a fast-growing technology company to hire an experienced DevOps Engineer.

This is an opportunity to join a highly technical engineering team building and operating modern cloud-native infrastructure at scale. You'll work on automation, platform reliability, observability, and deployment systems that support mission-critical applications used globally.

We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving startup environments, enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, and takes ownership of systems from design through production operations.

What You'll Do
  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across production environments.

  • Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and performance.

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

  • Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.

  • Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability best practices.

  • Collaborate closely with software engineers to improve developer experience and platform efficiency.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

  • Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and operational excellence initiatives.

  • Contribute to security, compliance, and disaster recovery processes.

  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and engineering excellence.

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  • Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and Docker.

  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strong scripting or programming skills (Python, Go, Bash, or similar).

  • Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

  • Strong understanding of networking, Linux systems, and cloud security principles.

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fully remote environment.

Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting high-growth SaaS platforms.

  • Multi-cloud experience.

  • Experience with distributed systems and large-scale production environments.

  • Security, compliance, or infrastructure governance experience.

  • Previous startup or scale-up experience.

Why Join?

You'll join a product-focused engineering team where infrastructure is considered a strategic advantage. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and highly technical, offering significant ownership and the opportunity to influence how systems are designed, operated, and scaled.
