This role is ideal for a developer who understands the toil of infrastructure, someone who has experienced the challenges of deploying and operating applications and is driven to eliminate those barriers for others.
You'll work hands-on to design and implement self-service automation, enabling developers to provision infrastructure, deploy services, and manage environments with minimal friction. Your work will help create a common control plane that abstracts hybrid cloud complexity and accelerates the adoption of cloud-native architectures.

You'll work hands-on to design and implement self-service automation, enabling developers to provision infrastructure, deploy services, and manage environments with minimal friction. Your work will help create a common control plane that abstracts hybrid cloud complexity and accelerates the adoption of cloud-native architectures.
In this role, you will:
- Design and implement self-service workflows for common developer tasks such as service scaffolding, environment provisioning, and CI/CD setup.
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) modules using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
- Integrate the IDP with internal systems including GitHub, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, secrets management, and observability platforms.
- Implement guardrails and policy-as-code to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable automation.
- Contribute to the development of developer portals, service catalogs, and golden paths that simplify application delivery.
- Monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and usability of the platform.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and developers to ensure the platform is intuitive and effective.
- Contribute to internal documentation and onboarding materials to support adoption and ease of use.
- 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5 + years of experience with IaC: Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane or similar tools
- 5 + year of experience with CI/CD: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or equivalent
- 5 + years of experience in Scripting & Programming: Python, Bash, or Go
- IaC & Automation: Strong experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar tools.
- CI/CD Systems: Familiarity with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or equivalent
- Scripting & Programming: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go
- Containers & Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Developer Portals: Exposure to Backstage, Port, Cortex, or similar platforms
- GitOps: Understanding of declarative infrastructure and delivery using tools like ArgoCD or Flux
- Observability: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
- Security & Policy: Experience implementing policy-as-code and secure automation practices
- Experience with service catalogs, API gateways, or internal developer tooling.
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS)
- Background in platform engineering or developer enablement teams
- Telecommuting is not an option for this position
