Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:
1. Development and customization of Broadcom CA Service Desk Manager and Microsoft 365 environments.
2. Research and troubleshoot problems and solutions for Broadcom CA Service Desk Manager
3. Develop and maintain CMDB for Broadcom CA Service Desk Manager
4. Ability to work with third-party Microsoft 365 solutions, and other industry tools as needed.
5. Able to interface and effectively integrate Microsoft 365 Suite
6. Confer with users and team members to develop, understand and update requirements for configuration and development of custom solutions.
7. Write and maintain programming documentation on subjects including code, API functionality, and software issue creation/resolution.
8. Maintain confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored or accessed.
9. Maintain, support, and troubleshoot Web applications.
10. Identify opportunities for application scalability, sustainability, and improvement
11. Evaluate customer or internally drive functionality change requests for technical feasibility and level of effort
12. Prepare database schema for review and deployment
13. Execute programming updates for application updates or enhancements per project.
14. Conduct application software testing, prototype review, and quality assurance for stage and production release and post release monitoring and follow up.

- Broadcom CA Service Desk Manager
- Microsoft 365Suite
- Internet Information Server, Component Services and Index Server, SQL Server (stored procedures constraints and triggers)
- XML Java, SpEL Project management techniques including planning, organizing, time management and financial management
- Object Oriented Concepts
- Scripting (PowerShell, Python, Perl, or Bash)
- SQL experience and basic understanding of relational databases
- TCP/IP networking
- Version control software
- Linux
Supervisory Responsibilities
Position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but is responsible for mentoring, guiding and counseling less experienced staff members on technical issues as related to project management and applications development, testing and deployment.
Experience/ Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (computer science, information technology, etc.) from a regionally accredited institution.
- Coding/Developer experience
- Two years’ work experience in software design and implementation for large projects; experience should include mentoring less experienced technical staff.
- An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education may be substituted upon supervisor’s approval.
- Must pass background investigation
