Ericsson Inc. seeks a Developer (5G Baseband Software Developer) in Austin, TX; hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance, who will serve toFocus on design and development of software content for Ericsson's gNodeB products.
What you will do:
Design, implement, and integrate software features for 5G NR RAN functionality including for Cloud RAN deployments;
Responsible for software activities like requirement analysis, design, SW coding, integration, verification, configuration management, product line support, and product documentation towards realizing 5G features on Baseband;
Develop software, implement new functionalities in C / C++ / Java code, often in a multi-core target environment;
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling;
Apply knowledge of Real-Time Software development and wireless communication protocols (5G, LTE);
Perform software deliveries using a software version control system;
Develop automated test cases to ensure existing functionality is never degraded by new software;
Document all system analysis, software designs and unit test plans.
Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance.
You will bring:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience in software development in the wireless domain.
OR Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in software development in the wireless domain.
5 years of experience with a Bachelor's or 2 years of experience with a Master's in:
2 years of experience (with a Bachelor's or Master's) in cloud computing.
