Job summary
The Deputy Program Manager provides direct Contract Management for assigned contracts or portions of very large contracts, Deputy Program Managers maximize contracts performance and ensure compliance with all commitments, including regulatory and operational components. This role is supporting our State and Local segment.
What you will do
* In concert with Program Manager, Legal, and other stakeholders, draft and negotiate master sales agreements, special programs, teaming agreements, amendments, addenda, and other contractual documents, as needed
* Educate sellers, partners, and customers on proper contract usage
* Work with assigned Contract Analysts and ensure proper accounting and timely delivery of fees, rebates, service level reporting, and other data-related deliverables associated with the contracts
* Serve as consultant to the Pre-Award teams and provide strategic guidance to help construct profitable, manageable programs, that maximize profits and minimize risk
* Manage pricing across contracts; work with partners to drive best price scenarios
* Maintain internal resources for integral contract information utilized by the business
* Maintain repository of contract and associated materials, in accordance with established policy
* Ensure appropriate closeout of concluded contracts
What we expect of you
* Bachelor's degree
* 2 years of relevant contracts management experience
* Advanced in Microsoft Excel
* Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
* Strong problem solving
* Strong project management skills
* Knowledge of standard procurement contracting and proposals process
* Ability to develop, analyze, and interpret complex statistical data and/or to develop contracting strategies
* Ability to work effectively and collaboratively to solve contract matters and drive desired business outcomes
* Operates autonomously with minimal guidance required
* Ability to influence decisions and motivate positive change
* Impeccable attention to detail and produces high quality work product
* Experience with handling sensitive, confidential matters appropriately
* Proficient in MS Word, outlook, PowerPoint and Access
* Ability and willingness to travel 10% or as needed to other CDW locations, meeting and client site
* Bachelor's degree, is a plus
* 3 to 5 years of experience managing or administering contracts within the IT or a similar industry, is a plus
* Knowledge of CDW/CDWG Business Systems, is a plus
* Advanced in MS Excel (including vLookup), Word, PowerPoint and Access, is a plus
* Served as a team leader or influencer in previous roles, is a plus
* Experienced presenter and/or trainer, is a plus
* Contract negotiation experience, is a plus Pay range: $70,000 - $97,200 depending on experience and skill set Annual bonus target of 5% subject to terms and conditions of plan Benefits overview: https://cdw.benefit-info.com/ Salary ranges may be subject to geographic differentials
