BAE Systems is recruiting a customer-facing role in Fort Worth, Texas to support the global F-35 Fleet. The Depot Operations Lead directly supports the BAE Depot Operations Value Stream Team and Lockheed Martin (LM) Depot Activation & Execution Value Stream Team(VST) by managing BAE Systems suppliers in support of theF-35 Depot Implementation Plan to include supporting other LM Aero activities; sustainment working groups, work load analysis, depot planning, and studies. This is all accomplished while representing BAE Systems and LM Aero Depot at required events to ensure supplier fulfills all contracted requirements.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Component Depot Operations Lead-Key Responsibilities:
- Establish initial depot level repair capabilities at JPO/program designated depot sites/activities to sustain the F-35 Ejection Seat, Fuel System, Life Support, and BAE System structural components through evaluations of all applicable integrated logistic support (ILS) elements.
- Lead the activation of one or more depot activation tasks including management of key stakeholders.
- Support F-35 Depot component repair capability development and activation activities to achieve affordable solutions through collaboration efforts with stakeholders.
- Manage technical processes to identify, acquire, provide the resources to establish depot component repair capability.
- Ensure depot personnel are trained and demonstrate the ability to sustain applicable BAE Systems F-35 system components.
- Provide quality assurance and quality control on supplier deliverables.
- Assist with supply and material management for responsible Line Replaceable Components (LRCs)
- Subject Matter Expert for BAE Systems depot level activities.
- Coordinate depot activities between BAE Systems, suppliers and military service depot (MSD).
- Schedule meetings/events, ensure the appropriate personnel are present to accomplish required tasks.
- Coordinate regular meeting/teleconferences with internal stakeholders, LM, US Gov depot, JPO, and suppliers.
- Coordinate and participate in on site visits and meetings to: BAE Systems (UK), US Gov Depots, and BAE Systems Suppliers.
- Participate in Contract Status Review (CSR) meetings with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Participate in Contract Status Review (CSR) meetings with external customer stakeholders.
- Participate in internal & external risk and opportunity meetings.
- Provide completion and/or acceptance documentation as required.
- Actively support system activation activities as required.
- Lead /oversee the 3 phases of depot repair capability, development, and implantation process activities which are depot analysis (phase I), depot planning (phase II), and depot implementation (phase III).
Experience Required:
- Previous military & aircraft maintenance experience highly preferred.
- Intimate working knowledge of F-35 depot practices.
- Ability to work in a high stress environment to meet customer needs and expectations at short notice.
- Working in a highly complex and politically sensitive environment.
- Superior organization skills a must.
- Strong communication skills are required both internally and externally.
- Able to perform at a high level in executive meetings involving customer and LM leadership.
- Self-starter and capable of working independently with minimal guidance.
- Effective reporting of tasks to both senior management and the customer.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Products; Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, etc.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Education
- High School Diploma, or 14 or more years equivalent experience/combined education
- Associate Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or 10 or more years equivalent experience/combined education
- Bachelor degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or 8 years equivalent experience/combined education
- Master Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or 6 years equivalent experience/combined education
- Previous military aircraft maintenance experience highly desired
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
