The Deal Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the end-to-end deal process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in deal execution. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Legal to facilitate deal approvals, resolve operational issues, and drive process improvements. The analyst is expected to work independently, especially during regional coverage gaps, and contribute to strategic initiatives such as automation and training.
 
Candidates based in San Diego, Ca preferred. Must be able to work Pacific Time (PST) hours. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, validate, and process sales deals, ensuring compliance with company policies and pricing guidelines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for deal desk processes, providing guidance to sales reps and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve workflow issues, including approval resets and system errors, escalating as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Legal, Order Ops) to streamline deal execution and implement process improvements.
  • Participate in and lead training sessions for new hires and sales teams, sharing best practices and troubleshooting common issues.
  • Contribute to automation and AI initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide coverage for global deal desk operations, including flexible scheduling to support regional needs (e.g., APAC, EMEA).
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in deal desk, sales, revenue operations, sales operations, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; experience working with global teams is a plus.
  • Familiarity with sales systems (e.g., Salesforce, Ironclad) and workflow automation tools.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to process compliance.
  • Adaptability and willingness to challenge the status quo for continuous improvement.

Salary and Benefits

USA Salary Range (OTE)
$60,000$78,500 USD
