Who we are.

Solo empowers teams to build and scale their AI infrastructure using cloud-native tech. Most companies have shifted from asking 'How can we make AI useful?' and are instead now asking 'How do we take our AI projects to production?'. A recent MIT study reveals a shocking 95% of GenAI projects never make it there or fail to deliver positive ROI. At Solo, our AI initiatives are helping teams bridge that gap from pilot to production..

With our roots in critical cloud infrastructure (gateways, proxies, service mesh) trusted by Fortune 500s, Solo is uniquely positioned to lead AI's next wave. As a nimble startup, we innovate faster, our engineers contribute to high-impact OSS (we're a top CNCF contributor) and solve real scalability challenges.

Solo is a VC-backed company, founded in 2017 by Idit Levine. In 2021, Solo was valued at $1B. Solo’s customers are some of the largest in the world, spanning all geographies and industries. Solo’s team has deep expertise in Cloud Computing, Linux, Containers, Kubernetes, Service Mesh, APIs, AI, Security, Networking, Microservice Applications and Infrastructure Modernization.

About the role.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Deal Desk & Finance Analyst to join our Deal Desk team. In this role, you will play a critical role in our quote-to-cash process by ensuring accuracy and consistency across Salesforce, order forms, invoicing systems, and internal approvals. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Finance, Legal and Customer Success to ensure our deals move smoothly and efficiently from configuration to close. Your work will directly influence deal velocity, revenue accuracy, customer experience, and leadership decision-making. This role will have direct visibility to and interaction with senior leadership and has a real impact on how the business operates and scales.

If you thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in getting the details right, this role is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in revenue operations and deal management. This is a unique opportunity that will allow you to get hands-on experience across the entire deal cycle, from pre-sales activities to invoicing  and renewals.

This is a remote role for applicants based in the US. We are unable to sponsor work visas for this role at this time.

Job Description:

  • Review and validate Salesforce opportunities for accurate product configuration, pricing, and required fields.
  • Approve order forms and ensure all commercial terms, billing details, and legal requirements are accurate prior to signature.
  • Manage the opportunity close process, including updating records, attaching documentation, and ensuring internal compliance requirements are met.
  • Send license keys or provisioning details to the appropriate teams/customers post-close.
  • Review Invoicing process, including approving transactions in Netsuite and verifying invoice details as well as trouble shooting invoicing issues
  • Act as a point of contact for Sales for deal-related questions, policy clarifications, and order-form guidance.
  • Support ongoing process improvements, documentation, and operational scalability as the company grows.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects related to finance, systems enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, service-oriented demeanor.
  • Ability to partner effectively with Sales and other cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic startup environment where priorities may shift quickly.
  • A desire to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility over time.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Ironclad, NetSuite, or similar systems is a plus—but not required if you’re eager to learn.
