Responsibilities:

  • Lead the demonstration of adherence to the LSEG Data standard policies and procedures.

  • Develop and understand LSEG's commercial strategy and how technology is transforming these processes.

  • Adapt quickly to new technologies, tools, and frameworks as needed for projects.

  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.

  • Design, develop, maintain Power BI dashboards and data models to support analytics and reporting needs.

  • Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize data insights for stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to gather and implement efficient solutions.

  • Support and understand cloud-based solutions using cloud providers with end-to-end processes.

  • Document data processes, models, and best practices in establishing integrations with enterprise data management systems and repositories.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience of a data modeler with 5+ years of experience in data transformation and proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

  • Experience in Microsoft Suits and grasp of data modelling tools ( Draw.io, LucidCharts etc.)

  • 5+ years of experience in SQL writing queries and executing SP’s.

  • Knowledge of version control systems ( e.g. Git we use Bitbucket, GitLab)

  • Expertise in creating comprehensive documentation using systems like Confluence and bug tracking software like Jira.

  • Understanding of cloud platforms AWS, AZURE, or other cloud providers with hands on experience with dataflows, databricks, adf, glue, ETL’s, and ELT’s.

  • Familiarity with Python, React, JavaScript, Power Apps, and other programming languages is highly desirable.

  • An enthusiastic advocate of high-quality solutions

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate technical information to non-technical partners and to listen to identified concerns and adapt accordingly
