Hart & Hickman, PC is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support our environmental consulting team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely data compilation for technical reports by reviewing environmental laboratory reports and entering results into standardized Excel tables. This will be an in-office role. If you thrive on precision, organization, and working as part of a collaborative team, we want to hear from you! 

Responsibilities: 

  • Review laboratory analytical reports for environmental samples (soil, groundwater, vapor, etc.) 
  • Enter laboratory results and field sampling data into summary tables used in technical reporting 
  • Prepare and format Electronic Data Deliverables (EDDs) in accordance with state and federal regulatory guidance 
  • Assist with geolocation data formatting and verification for environmental sample locations 
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency 
  • Assist project managers and technical staff with data tabulation, formatting, and data visualization tasks 
  • Maintain digital filing systems for lab reports and data summaries 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s degree (AA or equivalent) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formatting, basic formulas, and data validation) 
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy 
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in an environmental, scientific, or technical setting 
  • Familiarity with environmental laboratory data and terminology 
  • GIS experience is a plus
