Who we think is a Data Engineer / Software Engineer

Data Engineer/Software Engineer is a core enabler of modern data architecture whose focus is designing, building data systems for collecting and organizing data at scale enabling operational and analytical use cases. Data Engineer should have in-depth knowledge of distributed systems and software engineering principles which are applied towards identifying data engineering patterns and designing optimal data pipelines. Additionally, we believe Data Engineer should be well-versed with:

• Building architecture which aligns with business requirements
• Developing patterns enabling data acquisition across disparate technologies
• Use of software engineering patterns, languages and tools
• Building trunk based development CI/CD/CT pipelines that are equipped to deploy sophisticated data solutions
• Identifying ways to improve data observability, reliability, efficiency, interoperability and most importantly quality
• Planning end-to-end data models (logical/physical) for analysis and consumption
• Organizing and preparing data for predictive and prescriptive modeling

Salary Range:
