The Crown Is Yours
As a Data Engineer, FinOps you'll combine data engineering and analytics to help improve cloud cost visibility and accountability. Working closely with product, finance, and engineering partners, you'll build reliable, automated reporting solutions that drive smarter infrastructure decisions across the organization.
What You'll Do
  • Design and deliver data reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, Excel, and CloudZero.
  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines using technologies like Python, Airflow, and cloud-native services (e.g., AWS Lambda, BigQuery, Snowflake).
  • Translate complex cloud cost data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Integrate infrastructure usage data with business metrics to create a centralized view of cloud spend.
  • Identify and automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reliability.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools, including building executive-facing dashboards and presentations.
  • Understanding of cloud cost data and FinOps concepts, or a willingness to learn and grow in this space.
  • Exposure to workflow orchestration or automation tools like Airflow or AWS Lambda.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
