We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Financial Systems Engineering team and build the foundational systems that drive NVIDIA's high-performance financial infrastructure. You will play a critical role in designing scalable cloud services that integrate with diverse financial systems, enabling operational automation across global financial operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain event-driven pipelines (Kafka) and implement data models that ensure transactional integrity for commercial events like Invoices and Payments.

  • Data Analytics & Quality: Perform data analysis to validate financial accuracy, build dashboards to visualize system health, and implement automated quality checks within ETL processes.

  • Implementation & Operations: collaborate with the team to translate business requirements into scalable code, debugging operational issues to ensure the reliability of financial data flows.

What We Need To See:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of industry experience in data engineering or software development.

  • Technical Core: Proficiency in building REST APIs and data pipelines using Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS, along with strong SQL and Data Analytics skills (e.g., complex querying, data profiling).

  • Infrastructure Familiarity: Working knowledge of distributed systems, Linux, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), including experience with container tools like Docker.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • Analytics Visualization: Experience using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Superset to drive business insights from financial data.

  • Financial Domain: Prior experience working with Financial/ERP data (SAP, Oracle) or understanding of basic accounting principles.

  • Modern Tooling: Familiarity with "Infrastructure as Code" concepts (Terraform) and orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
