Wells Fargo is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Sr. Manager to lead a team of Data Center Infrastructure Engineers, providing leadership and strategic direction to the overall function of the group. This leader works with peer managers and Principal Engineers to define standards and provide consistent processes for operational success.

Wells Fargo is seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Sr. Manager to lead a team of Data Center Infrastructure Engineers, providing leadership and strategic direction to the overall function of the group. This leader works with peer managers and Principal Engineers to define standards and provide consistent processes for operational success.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop Infrastructure Engineers in roles with moderate complexity and risk
- Lead the Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) team to deliver commitments aligned to strategic priorities
- Provide technical direction and leadership regarding the Data Center application suite and make critical direction decisions for team members after interacting with Data Center Hosting Services peers, peers across CTO, in the Enterprise Functions Technology organization, and with subordinates and senior managers
- Portrays maturity within the team by taking initiative in seeking solutions and proactively resolving potential issues
- Provides strategic guidance to internal platform planning, implementation teams and vendors
- Inspires the cooperation and confidence of others and effectively uses influence to ensure quality planning, accurate forecasting and strategic focus
- Meets frequently with stakeholders, partners, vendors, application support team, and senior management, who establish the Data Center Infrastructure Strategy for Data Center Hosting Services, to ensure mature relationships are maintained and to develop planning approaches and strategies
- Meets and negotiates with vendors regarding software and hardware procurement and maintenance. Negotiates and manages application vendor contracts. Ensures compliance with contract specifications
- Performs as liaison between enterprise and end-users, outside vendors, contractors and consultants to define and establish service and support requirements
- Develop strategic plans and roadmaps to identify and enhance tools and best practices to deliver innovative and holistic solutions to Wells Fargo Data Center stakeholders
- Oversee the preparation of various documentation including project reports, process and user manuals, presentations, strategic and technical plans, user group education, and other related information on assigned tools
- Oversee metrics development, trend analysis, process improvements and benchmarking
- Maintain budget and existing vendor contracts, develop timelines and cost estimates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases, regular corrective or service pack releases, and integrates projects into cohesive timelines and manages to key milestones
- 6+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
- 3+ years of Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools
- Experience in a global organization, with a successful track record in managing organizations and influencing people with an emphasis on teamwork
- Direct management experience within a Data Center environment
- Working knowledge of Data Center workflow and DCIM tools including ServiceNow, Nlyte, BMS, EPMS, CFD modeling, and asset/inventory management systems
- Ability to develop highly collaborative relationships both with internal leadership and external vendors
- Working knowledge of Data Center operations
- Knowledge of application Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with project management and milestone management
- This position is not available for Visa sponsorship
- This position may require travel up to 10%
- This position has a hybrid work schedule
