Role: Data Architect

Location: Wilmington DE

Duration: 1 year contract

Pay rate : Can Be Discussed.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the fundamental organization of a system embodied in its components, their relationships to each other and to the environment, and the principles guiding its design and evolution. 

Data Architect: 

• Includes functions to create the conceptual, high-level, and detailed design of the software solution.  

• Usually possesses extensive experience with multiple technical disciplines, across multiple platforms.

• Data Modeler: Develops the logical data model (LDM) and assists the DBA in developing the physical data model (PDM). 

• Facilitates JAD sessions to determine data rules, and holds LDM and PDM Reviews with Data SMEs.  

• Applies client's Data Naming Standards, checks models in and out of Model Repository, and documents data model translation decisions.

• Includes use of data profiling tools and techniques, and development of review and QA data requirements.

• 5 plus years experience with Financial Services clients

• Coordinating others work while involved with multiple work streams

• 3 to 5 years prior data analyst experience preferred

• COF experience Desired but not required

• Logical Design Demonstrated experience with large scale, multiple business solutions across divisions or enterprise

• Demonstrated experience with multiple platforms

• Demonstrated use of Zachman or RUP Framework

• Data Modeling Tools Demonstrated ability with more than three tools

• Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross functional groups and senior levels

• Ability to influence multiple levels on highly technical issues and challenges

• Demonstrated experience to influence and coordinate third parties and suppliers.
