The Data Analytics Manager is a key Finance team member responsible for developing Corporate and Operational KPIs. This role involves analyzing financial, sales, delivery and customer data to provide actionable insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams, improving financial and business processes, and ensuring compliance with data governance standards. The Data Analytics Manager should have strong financial modeling skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and be able to support forward looking analytics with real data. This reports to the VP of Global FP&A!
Key Responsibilities:- KPI Reporting and Visualization:
- Partner with Finance leadership to define key financial metrics, performance indicators, and forecasting models
- Build Corporate and Operational important metric dashboards using data visualization tools to highlight key trends and insights
- Deep understanding of data engineering concepts (e.g. ability to write code connecting different systems to build necessary visualizations)
- Data Governance
- Deep understanding of data flows across various Financial and Operational systems ensuring appropriate data integrity as important metric dashboards are built
- Establish standard processes for data governance and data management including data dictionary for Corporate and Operational critical metrics
- Ensure data integrity across various Financial and Operational systems
- Serve as the Technical lead and Systems admin for Finance Systems (e.g. ARR tool, FPA tool)
- Collaboration and Process Improvement
- Work closely with Finance, Sales, Delivery, Product and IT teams to align on overall financial objectives
- Foster a culture of teamwork and data-driven decision-making within the Finance team – work closely with both Finance and Accounting peers and leadership to drive vital outcomes
- Drive one source of truth discussions with various stakeholders and communicate to Business Leadership around gaps in processes based on real data
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Data Analytics or/and Business Systems
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Quick sight, PBI).
- Relevant SAAS/Services experience preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills within a Finance team context
