About the Team:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Operations, the Analytics Engineer works with the Business Operations team and its partner teams to develop and maintain critical reporting and analytics architecture. Being part of a lean team, the Analytics Engineer will also often work directly with stakeholders on creating and refining new reports and dashboards as needed, but will primarily work with Analysts and SMEs within the Business Operations team.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and expand the Business Operations team’s reporting capabilities through thoughtful design of SQL architecture.

Increase the team’s total analytics capacity by introducing or improving automation wherever possible.

Work with team members in Revenue Operations to keep sales reporting up to date by ensuring all changes to sales process or CRM management are reflected accurately in downstream reporting frameworks.

Improve and expand monitoring of data quality, exception reporting, and status reporting on all analytics jobs and pipelines owned by the Business Operations team.

Work with Business Operations Analysts to streamline their modeling and other analytics processes.

Monitoring and troubleshooting of issues anywhere along a data pipeline ultimately serving up reporting to the business.

Data documentation and expansion of the team’s data dictionary and directory.

Support partner teams as needed in terms of explaining reporting frameworks and metrics, and occasionally performing ad-hoc analyses or expanding existing dashboards.
Role Requirements:
-
Advanced SQL and 5+ years of SQL experience, preferably with Snowflake or a similar cloud SQL data warehouse

2+ years of experience with a SQL modeling tool such as DBT, SQLDBM, or similar
-
Intermediate to advanced Python, and familiarity with cloud notebooks and Python libraries including or similar to pandas, snowflake connector or SQLAlchemy, requests, and json, among others

3+ years of experience developing and maintaining reporting, with one or more BI tools such as Looker (preferred), Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, Metabase, or similar

2+ years of experience working with version control tools such as Github

Experience working with data from Salesforce, Hubspot, or a similar CRM
-
Experience being responsible for maintenance of business-critical data models and reporting frameworks
-
Familiarity with common B2B SaaS go-to-market and financial metrics (eg conversion metrics, churn rates, net and gross dollar retention, etc.)

Experience with Airflow or another orchestration tool is a bonus

Experience with Databricks is a bonus
