Addition is growing rapidly, and we’re hiring a Data Analyst. This individual will work closely with the founder and founding team to help identify big opportunities, execute, and will play a key role in the company’s growth. The right individual is smart, scrappy, and be ready to dive into whatever what needs to be done.
As a critical member of our team, you will work directly with the executive team, as well as collaborate across product, design, engineering, and marketing teams to drive reporting and uncover key insights. We are looking for someone who is excited about our mission to make personalized financial expertise inclusive and accessible for all.
Who You Are
- 3–5 years of experience in a data-focused role within a fast-paced, analytical environment—consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a high-growth startup (preferably fintech).
- Deep understanding of business dynamics and comfort working cross-functionally to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to translate ambiguous questions into clear, data-driven narratives.
- Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, high-accountability environment and can work autonomously while collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience designing, maintaining, and optimizing data models, dashboards, and reporting pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of distilling complex data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences alike.

What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end analytics process—from data collection and transformation to insight generation and visualization.
- Partner with leadership across Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and Finance to identify key metrics, define success criteria, and measure business impact.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks that empower teams to make faster, smarter decisions.
- Build our reporting capabilities and support the enterprise in internal and external reporting needs.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure data reliability, scalability, and accuracy.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on user behavior, product performance, and revenue trends to surface opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Support executive decision-making with clear, data-backed recommendations and scenario modeling.
- Collaborate with engineers to enhance data infrastructure and advocate for best practices in data management.
- Help foster a data-driven culture across the organization through training, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
