Key Responsibilities
Data Storytelling & Visualization:
Champion the use of data storytelling to influence strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
Design and deliver intuitive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate key metrics, trends, and insights to senior leadership.
Ensure complex data sets are presented in a way that is accessible, compelling, and tailored to the audience.
Actionable Insights & Decision Support:
Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations to support operational, financial, and strategic decisions.
Identify and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), business trends, risks, and opportunities across the organization.
Lead advanced data analysis projects, including forecasting, segmentation, and scenario modeling.
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence:
Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Influence decision-making through compelling narratives backed by data, promoting a data-driven culture across the business.
Data Governance & Quality:
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across BI tools and reporting environments.
Collaborate and prioritize roadmaps with data engineering and governance teams to maintain high data quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications Required:
5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy roles
Experience in the financial services industry or a similarly data-intensive environment.
Expert-level proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and data storytelling techniques.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and SQL.
Proven track record of driving business performance through data-driven decision-making.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, especially at the executive level.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
Preferred:
Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Data Analytics, etc.)
Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with statistical analysis, Python/R, or machine learning concepts.
Influence high-impact decisions at the executive level.
Collaborate with top talent across data, finance, and business operations.
