At Smartly, we are embarking on an exciting new project to transform our product analytics. This initiative will empower us to answer critical product questions with speed and accuracy and lay the groundwork for personalized experiences, data-driven recommendations, and deeper industry insights within the Smartly platform.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Product Analyst to join our growing Analytics team. As a key member of the Data Platform and Product Analytics team, you'll collaborate across the organization, working closely with Product Management, Design, Customer Success, Marketing, and the Leadership Team. You will help shape how we use data to optimize our customer experience and drive strategic business decisions.

This is a pivotal moment for product analytics at Smartly, and you'll have a direct impact on the success of our products by providing critical insights, building robust data models, and developing dashboards that tell compelling stories. You’ll work with a variety of data, from sales and revenue figures to user interaction metrics, to create a unified view of key performance indicators such as engagement, revenue growth, and feature adoption.

As a Product Analyst at Smartly, you will...

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to analyze customer behavior and optimize the user experience using data.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance reporting for key product adoption metrics.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product data and lead efforts to improve feature tracking.
  • Own the end-to-end data process: from defining data requirements to generating actionable insights.
  • Play a critical role in our data-driven decision-making, influencing both high-level strategy and day-to-day product operations.
  • Create and maintain data models that ensure accuracy and consistency across all product metrics.

What we are looking for...

  • Proficiency in SQL to analyze data effectively.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI to visualize insights.
  • Strong communication skills to turn complex data into compelling stories and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience in data modeling.
  • Bonus points for experience with Python for more advanced analysis and automation.
  • Ability and willingness to work from our Helsinki office for three days a week.
