Your Mission

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our fast-growing Risk & Fraud team. Reporting to our VP Risk & Fraud Product, you will be supporting the team on identifying, preventing, and mitigating fraud using data to tell stories and influence internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitoring and analysis of transaction data to optimize traffic acceptance rates and detect suspicious activities and potential fraud.

· Development and implementation of fraud detection models and algorithms to identify emerging fraud trends.

· Utilize visualization tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.) to create comprehensive dashboards and reports that provide insights into fraud patterns and transactions processing trends.

· Communicate actionable insights, findings, recommendations and strategies to the team, senior management or other stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations, based on data analysis findings and interpretation, to enhance payment flows and fraud prevention strategies.

· Stay up to date with the latest data analysis and fraud prevention techniques and technologies, and industry best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, finance and economics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets to extract actionable insights.

· Proven experience and knowledge (3+ years) in a fraud prevention role and data analysis, preferably within the fintech or e-commerce sectors.

· Strong experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and data analysis tools and languages (SQL, Python, R, etc.).

· Strong understanding of fraud detection methodologies and prevention strategies.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly present complex information around findings and recommendations to senior management, technical and non-technical audiences.

· Ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously.

· High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality of analysis.
