As a Data Insights Analyst, AI Engineering on the Operational Analytics & Insights team, you'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to develop data-driven solutions to Spectrum's business problems. WHAT OUR DATA INSIGHTS ANALYSTS ENJOY MOST

  • Defining clear business requirements for data analysis projects
  • Providing metrics definition, data visualizations, and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) requirements
  • Extracting engineer data for analysis
  • Interpreting data, formulating hypotheses, and developing an analytical approach to meet business requirements
  • Using advanced visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Streamlit, and Excel, to create reports for customers
  • Obtaining new reference data sources required to deliver on business needs
  • Using data visualization and presentations to communicate results and make recommendations
  • Creating analyses and dashboards that are usable, elegant, and industry-leading

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Relevant technical or business work experience: 5 years or more
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Technical skills:
    • Demonstrated proficiency of advanced analytics processes and reporting design principles
    • Proficiency in Python and SQL
    • Expertise in data extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL)
    • Hands-on experience in designing and developing AI solutions using Microsoft Azure ML, Databricks, AWS, Redshift, and Fabric
    • Expertise in integrating and working with APIs
    • Expertise in data visualization, dashboarding, and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Streamlit, and Databricks
  • Abilities:
    • Make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
    • Demonstrated understanding of design and implementation practices within data visualization tools
    • Efective written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Large Language Models (LLMs) (finetuning, retraining, and prompt engineering)
    • Working with text data including Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques such as tokenization, sentiment analysis, and text classification
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in documenting business and technical requirements for various projects
  • Abilities:
    • Explain complex statistical/data-related concepts to non-technical audience

The base pay for this position generally is between
$75,200.00 and $120,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
