We are seeking a Community & Data Acquisition Analyst I (Mexico) to support the identification, engagement, and growth of data communities across Latin America. This role combines data operations with community intelligence: you will proactively research, validate, and acquire geospatial and structured datasets from diverse sources, while building relationships with contributors, partners, and digital communities in the region. The ideal candidate is highly tech-savvy, curious, and comfortable navigating ambiguity capable of working with CRM systems, dashboards, and data pipelines while translating community interactions into actionable data assets. You will collaborate cross-functionally, document workflows, and ensure data quality, leveraging tools such as Jira, SugarCRM, and the Microsoft Office suite to manage operations, track requirements, and communicate insights.
Effectively, the Data Acquisition & Community Analyst I is responsible for• Executing on the sub-regional data acquisition and community strategy in the defined area of focus.• Development and maintenance of a predefined pipeline of DAC opportunities per given priorities and per management guidance within a territory to support defined HERE products and services requirements within scope, budget, timeframe and quality criteria.• Support the delivery of unplanned, on-demand acquisition and crowdsourcing needs within the sub-region per tasks given.• Development of good knowledge and local footprint to promote HERE externally.
Main responsibilities:
1. Develops a good understanding of the data market for a defined country to support GPP team building relationship with local players within the data market.
2. Support the team's ambition to develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of data opportunities for the area of responsibility that may also supports the supply liquidity of the HERE Marketplace.
3. Executes the data acquisition and community plan for the respective area of responsibility to meet the scope, budget, timeframe, and quality requirements of HERE Products and Services.
4. Supports the team's ambition to develop and maintain HERE brand awareness in the market.
5. Based on area of focus, provides local data market insights and feedback to internal stakeholders via line management.
6. Supports the team in their data acquisition and community activities when required.
