Job Title: D365 Sr. Finance Consultant

Work Location: Cary, NC

Job Summary:

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Finance & Ops (MSD365 F&O) and Dynamics 365 - Administration.

  • This role offers the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site, with no travel required.

  • The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing various projects, ensuring they align with our company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business and functional teams and translate ideas into strategy and features and follow systems development and maintenance methodologies to maximize the value of the D365 ERP system for the business globally.

  • Oversee the design and implementation of Dynamics 365 enhancements, including customizations, integrations, and data management.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with stakeholders to maximize effectiveness and influence.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the product end-users on Dynamics 365 best practices.

  • Ensure adoption of the standardized processes implemented across the company globally.

  • Stay up-to-date with new Dynamics 365 features and capabilities to ensure that solutions are utilizing the latest technology.

  • Utilize the Microsoft Power Platform to increase the end-user productivity.

  • Maintain oversight and ownership of D365 service provider(s).

  • Manages customer project delivery and is accountable for success of project engagements.

  • Elicit and document business requirements within well-defined business processes.

  • Interface with users remotely to manage expectations and resolve issues.

  • Analyze and document business requirements and translate these to specification and design documents for developers.

  • Assist in documentation of current and desired business processes.

  • Support and provide input to the technical design of solution components.

  • Develop functional scenario-based test scripts; develop test data in support of UAT.

  • Conduct training sessions and produce user documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor‘s/Master's degree in Commerce or Computer Science or MBA Finance/Operations.

  • 10+ years of experience working with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 architecture and best practices

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 customizations, integrations, and data management

  • Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as Azure, PowerApps, and Power BI

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
