Title: Senior D365 Project Manager

Location: Remote with US travel up to 50%


Please note: The estimated start date for this role is June or July 2025. We will be starting interviews around May 2025.


The MCA Connect Senior Project Manager is responsible for directing the implementation of one or more large-scale Dynamics 365 implementation projects. The typical project size and complexity is a 3–16-month duration involving up to 5-10 multi-disciplined implementation team members across one or more client locations.


You will be supported by a strong project team of solution architects, developers, and technical consultants but will need a strong background in project management and business process optimization and to have or develop a solid working knowledge with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. Our projects are major strategic investments for our clients and their successful execution requires a project manager that is driven, proactive, creative, and assertive.


While your primary function will be as a project manager, from time to time, we may also ask you to assist with other functions including sales and marketing, implementation-related tasks, and general administration related activities. This is a full-time salaried position with bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage one or more high risk, high complexity ERP and/or CE projects.
  • Provide leadership to all functional and business areas affected by the project.
  • Work closely with MCA Connect resource management to ensure adequate allocation of resources to projects.
  • Develops and manages detailed project plans, cost estimates, resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans and issue resolution plans.
  • Drive project decisions and recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Manages project deliverables, scope & expectations.
  • Proactively communicates and reports status to executives, MCA Connect management and all other stakeholders by leveraging tools such as status reports, executive briefings, and active day to day team communication.
  • Effectively communicates and collaborates with technical project team members to achieve project goals.
  • Employs project management leading practices as provided by PMI and MCA Connect delivery standards.
  • Provides leadership to project team members with respect to project management processes and best practices.
  • Directly responsible for managing the project budget, and providing the predictive financial analysis required to deliver accurate project status.
  • Coordinate customer invoicing, accounts receivable and providing project forecasting models.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience directly managing software implementation deployments (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (ERP) and/or CE/CRM a plus)
  • Experience with IT implementation methodologies across all phases of Diagnosis, Analysis, Design, Development, Deployment and Operation
  • Understanding of complete solution within the context of an integrated enterprise-wide IT strategy
  • Ability to work closely with key business stakeholders to communicate progress and vision.
  • Ability to allocate the correct resources to each project phase and monitor their performance
  • Consensus driven management style that support a vast set of stakeholders
  • Strong leadership, teambuilding and motivational skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
