Leidos is seeking a Cybersecurity Technical Director to provide technical leadership within our Digital Modernization Sector. The ideal candidate will be familiar with full spectrum cybersecurity capabilities and comfortable leading a team across these domains. The Cybersecurity Technical Director will support a variety of tasks, including support to new business opportunities, direct programs, research & development efforts.

The Cybersecurity Technical Director will be seen as a subject matter expert throughout the organization and will take the lead on projects relating to Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS), Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC), wireless technologies, and cryptographic research. The position will require strong technical and management capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supports the Digital Modernization Sector in developing and delivering complex solutions on captures, IRADs, and direct programs.

  • Identify and research opportunities for advancement across the field of cybersecurity.

  • Oversees technical teams developing and integrating full-spectrum cyber solutions.  

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen and possess a Top Secret Clearance eligible for access to SCI

  • Bachelor’s degree in field related to Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.

  • 12+ years of demonstrated work experience in the field of cybersecurity

  • Experience designing solutions for secure, scalable, and robust on premise and cloud-based virtualized infrastructures.

  • Experience developing and maintaining architecture artifacts, and effectively communicating the design to executive and technical stakeholders

  • Previous experience developing and integrating Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS)

  • Documented experience supporting CDS Raise the Bar (RTB) projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSCP / OSCE certification

  • CISSP Certification

  • TS / SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph

  • Experience with cryptography and embedded system development

  • Experience with 5G and wireless technologies

  • Experience supporting Army programs

Pay Range:Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
