THE OPPORTUNITY

This Cybersecurity Specialist position can work out remotely within the U.S.

The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for the ongoing analysis of internal and external cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities and the production of actionable intelligence for the organization. This Cybersecurity Specialist will collect data from multiple sources, generate intelligence reports and briefings, recommend vulnerability mitigation approaches, and provide detailed analyses of emerging cybersecurity threats.

What You’ll Work On

  • Perform threat identification and mitigation activities using industry leading security controls and tools.

  • Support the advancement of the Company’s cyber threat and vulnerability management program to ensure consistent identification, analysis, response, and monitoring of cyber security threats, events, and vulnerabilities.

  • Assess threats to the business and deploy countermeasures for those threats.

  • Interface with platform management and operations teams to aid in tool configuration and to ensure appropriate log review by operations personnel and data production for input into security intelligence program

  • Facilitate development of patterns for analysis tools used to identify and thwart malicious attacks

  • Protect applications in compliance with multiple, global privacy, security, business resiliency and compliance frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field


  • 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT management systems, with a strong preference for product security experience in consumer-facing apps and services

  • Strong understanding of security concepts and best practices.

  • Excellent report writing skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

PREFERRED:

  • Experience with threat intelligence report writing

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CEH)

The base pay for this position is

$75,300.00 – $150,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
