What You'll Do:
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of National Implementation Managers, providing day-to-day direction, mentorship, and strategic oversight.• Drive ownership and accountability across the implementation team to ensure consistent, exceptional client experiences for large and complex implementations.• Collaborate with senior leaders, client management, and distribution partners to align implementation efforts with strategic growth goals and relationship objectives.• Define and monitor KPIs and performance metrics across the implementation function to ensure alignment with client expectations and enterprise standards.• Sponsor and provide executive leadership for strategic client implementations while empowering the National Implementation Managers to execute operational plans.• Ensure seamless execution of the implementation lifecycle - from sales handoff through post-go-live transition.• Oversee creation of detailed implementation plans, timelines, stakeholder education, and client experience strategies.• Foster continuous feedback loops with clients and brokers to refine implementation processes.• Coordinate across departments (e.g., Contracts, Legal, FMLA Operations, Underwriting) to ensure alignment and execution excellence.• Ensure enrollment materials, contracts, and administrative processes are accurate and compliant.• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, consistency, and scalability.• Serve as escalation point for implementation challenges and support in navigating complex issues.• Lead or support finalist sales presentations to reinforce implementation model strength.• Promote transparent and collaborative communication across all stakeholders.• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the National Implementation team.• Foster a culture of coaching, accountability, and strategic collaboration.• Drive engagement in stretch assignments and development opportunities.
What You'll Bring:
• Bachelor's degree preferred.• Minimum 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in group insurance or employee benefits.• Proven success leading high-performing teams through complex implementations.• In-depth knowledge of life, accident, and disability products and related administrative processes.• Superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.• Demonstrated experience in client consultation, problem-solving, and executive engagement.• Strategic thinking with strong operational and process improvement skills.• High emotional intelligence and collaborative leadership style.
