What you will do 

 

Provides coordination and maintenance support in the area of bank security and physical security equipment. Ensures successful implementation of security deliverables in accordance with company standards and industry best practices.  Interface with vendors to ensure electronic security program is well maintained and fully functional. Position can be located with the Carolinas, Georgia and or Florida with a preference in Charlotte or Orlando.

 

How you will do it 

 

  • Provide technical support and diagnostics of complex alarm, digital video and card access systems. 

  • Program, maintain and update information for all Corporate Security electronic security systems.  

  • Initiate service calls for video, alarm, and card access system repairs. 

  • Remotely program system maintenance and repairs for vendors while service is being conducted. 

  • Identify potential issues or concerns regarding electronic security systems and escalate risk issues associated with items that cannot be remedied independently.  

  • Maintain positive working relationships between peers and managers as well as clients, integrators, vendors, tenants, and other partners. 

 

What we look for 

 

Required 

 

  • Three or more years of technical system support experience.  

  • Experience with video intrusion, alarm, and access control management systems. 

  • Ability to evaluate possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents. Work under moderate supervision. Able to quickly resolve issues or escalate as needed. 

  • Strong verbal/written communication and ability to communicate complex information in straight forward manner. 

  • Strong organizational, project and time management skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple software applications and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software products. 

  • experience with Microsoft Excel including the ability to work with large datasets.  

 

Preferred 

 

  • Professional certification in the security industry (ASIS Physical Security Professional or similar). 

  • CPTED (Crime Prevention through Environmental Design) Training.  

  • Pacom- gms and emcs/ dmp remote link/ Verint vid center and op center / March networks admin console and investigator. 

  • Honeywell prowatch, maybe Bosch rps. 

  • IBM tririga for service calls but experience with ticketing management systems would be beneficial. 

  • Normal office suite, mastermind would be a plus.
