We are looking for an insight driven, proactive and curious individual to join our Kroger team as a Customer Sales Analyst. The Customer Sales Analyst is a sales position that provides business insights and unit/revenue growth recommendations through category research delivered to Customer Business Teams. This role will leverage a deep understanding of the consumer, customer, competitive set, and company goals to identify insights to drive the business; and will lead stakeholder thinking to turn those insights into action. Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Identify insights, present learnings, and deliver business recommendations to drive joint business growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales & corporate teams to achieve customer unit, revenue, distribution, feature, and display goals.
  • Design, prepare and deliver regular category, customer, and account performance reports.
  • Conduct regular reviews and quarterly assessments of key business drivers.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis with curiosity and agility, in a way that proactively uncovers business opportunities.
  • Develop & build impactful customer specific selling stories that reflect key category business-building initiatives.
  • Partner with the Sales team to prepare, lead and deliver materials for external meetings.
  • Attend customer meetings to assist sales team in presenting business cases.
  • Define and scale best practices across the analyst organization.

Expected Experience & Required Skills
  • A self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent collaborator and proven ability to work as a team.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with high proficiency in data analysis.
  • Ability to link strategies and objectives to develop a plan and deliver results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills.
  • Proven experience owning reporting and providing data driven insights to influence business results.
  • Prior experience in business analytics with a national retailer or manufacturer is a plus.
  • Experience with 3rd party data is a plus, including but not limited to IRI and 84.51 (Market 6 & Stratum).

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$77,800.00 - $97,300.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
