Customer Marketing Specialist Position Summary:

The Customer Marketing Specialist is an essential part of Delinea’s Customer Marketing team, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Customer Marketing. The Customer Marketing team lives and thrives at a unique intersection between Product Marketing, Advocacy, Demand Generation, and Product Management, with the ability to coordinate skillfully across stakeholders. This individual contributor role is ideal for an early career professional looking to grow their skills in customer marketing – and to be part of a new and growing team at Delinea! The Customer Marketing Specialist will play a vital role in supporting Delinea’s efforts to drive expansion programs – executing sales and marketing initiatives to help customers understand where they can go next in their journey with Delinea. Candidates should have effective project management skills, an enthusiasm for collaborating across cross-functional teams, and a willingness to engage in and enthusiasm for content creation. This role requires a proactive and organized individual with a passion for creating positive customer experiences, attention to detail, collaborative spirit, and excitement to work in an exciting, dynamic and evolving environment! This position is remote and based in the US. This role may require some travel (10%).

What You'll Do:

  • Project Management: Manage the internal project pipeline for organizing and running sales incentives, customer marketing events and event participation and some content planning and production, ensuring programs run in a timely manner.

  • Build and Execute Expansion Programs: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to identify, build, and execute customer expansion programs, ensuring alignment with program requirement and deadlines.

  • Performance Measurement: Track and analyze sales incentive program performance using defined metrics, providing insights on engagement and identifying areas for optimization.

  • Content Creation: As needed, write and edit content, such as blog posts, articles, customer-facing and sales-enablement presentations, and case studies, based on defined requirements and input from subject matter experts (SMEs).

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 1-3 years of experience in product marketing, product management, public relations, journalism, or a related field.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as writing and editing skills.

  • Basic project management skills, with experience managing project or program calendars and deadlines, and the ability to effectively coordinate across teams.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality interactions with customers and key Delinea stakeholders.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, product management, sales, operations, and events teams

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
