Customer Account Specialist

We’re looking for a Customer Account Specialist who shares our passion for quality, accountability, and service. In this role, you won’t just manage accounts - you’ll play a critical part in ensuring our customers’ success and upholding the standards that define DECI.

Your Impact

As a trusted partner to both our customers and internal teams, you will:

Champion the Customer Experience

  • Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs are understood, prioritized, and met with precision
  • Build lasting relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and reliability
  • Support customers with order status, product guidance, issue resolution, and timely follow-through

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Collaborate closely with production and warehouse teams to align schedules and deliver on commitments
  • Proactively communicate changes, anticipate needs, and help keep operations running smoothly
  • Enter and manage orders with accuracy to ensure seamless execution from request to delivery

Uphold Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Capture and document customer feedback to strengthen processes and outcomes
  • Lead or support Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to maintain our high standards
  • Contribute to our ISO-driven quality system, including auditing and document control

Support Accountability & Accuracy

  • Monitor inventory levels for customer-owned materials to ensure production readiness
  • Assist with resolving freight and billing discrepancies with attention to detail
  • Generate reports and insights that help teams make informed, data-driven decisions

Contribute to a Strong Team Culture

  • Work collaboratively across departments with professionalism and respect
  • Support team operations and step in where needed, including front desk backup
  • Participate in improving systems and processes that make us stronger as a whole

Requirements

 What You Bring

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in customer account management, inventory, purchasing, or industrial operations
  • A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and pride in your work
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust across teams and with customers
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail in managing data and processes
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a proactive mindset
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-driven environment
  • Reliable transportation

Skills & Technical Strengths

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools
  • Comfort navigating systems that support production, inventory, and customer data

Other Requirements: U.S. Citizen or U.S. work qualification; Reliable Transportation
