We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with expertise in the Cúram Business Application Suite (CBAS) to support enterprise-level human services solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with a solid track record in software solution delivery and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in CBAS to gather and define requirements through client interviews and workshops.
- Lead fit/gap analysis sessions to align business requirements with Cúram standard features and identify necessary functional extensions.
- Design functional specifications and configure CBAS to meet client needs.
- Act as a liaison between technical staff and client subject matter experts to support solution development.
- Plan and execute system tests to verify proper configuration and functional coverage.
- Mentor teams and stakeholders on Cúram out-of-the-box (OOTB) functionality in relation to client requirements.
- Collaborate with testing teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage; review and refine test cases and strategies.
- Provide insights into the Cúram data model, including entities, attributes, and relationships.
- Build trust and maintain strong client relationships by offering practical and strategic solutions.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- Proven ability to deliver effective written communications and presentations.
- Experience in business process analysis (e.g., use cases, process flows) and solution design (e.g., gap analysis).
- Proficiency in screen design, storyboarding, and quality assurance including test case development.
- Leadership experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
- Strong background in working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software, such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Siebel, Lawson, Harmony, CGI, etc.
- Deep familiarity with the Cúram product suite, especially in developing integrated solutions for human services, labor, health, social security, and military or veterans’ agencies.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT business analyst consulting
- At least 5 years of experience working with Cúram software products and services
- Minimum 5 years of experience with business processes in human services domains (e.g., welfare, medical assistance, child protection, child support, eligibility, health insurance)
- At least 5 years of experience in a consulting role within a large professional services organization
Work Environment & Travel
- Combination of onsite work at Merative offices or client locations and remote work within the United States
- Willingness to travel weekly to client sites, as needed
