About the Role
- We’re looking for an Associate Producer to assist us in the planning, production, and publication of podcasts and other media offerings at The Block.
- We’re looking for a motivated crypto-native self-starter that’s comfortable multi-tasking and juggling several ongoing projects at once.
What You’ll Do
- Pitch guests and episode ideas to our media director and podcast hosts based on hot, relevant, niche and interesting topics in the crypto space
- Coordinate, schedule, and carry out recordings and A/V checks with guests
- Conduct research and provide hosts with questions + background info
- Assist in publishing episodes & maintaining clear analytics records
- Pitch ideas for new media offerings, and produce greenlit projects from A to B
- Assist in research/planning of other media projects
- Tools we use: Slack, Google Analytics, Riverside, OBS, Figma, n8n, Twitter/X Analytics, YouTube Studio, Wordpress, Premiere Pro, Photoshop etc
What You’ll Bring
- We’re looking for someone who has:Deep knowledge of the crypto industry and genuine curiosity about emerging narratives and trends
- 2+ years of experience in podcast or video production, with a solid grasp of recording, editing, and publishing workflows
- Familiarity with tools like Riverside, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, OBS, YouTube Studio, and Wordpress
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills — able to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Creative instincts for spotting compelling stories, guests, and ideas that resonate with crypto audiences
- Comfort working autonomously in a fast-paced, remote, and globally distributed environment
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset that embraces ownership and accountability
- Bonus if you have:
- Your own network of contacts
- AI fluency, or experience with agentic workflows
What Success Looks Like
- After 3-6 months in this role, you will have:
- Successfully coordinated and executed multiple podcast recordings from planning to publication
- Built strong working relationships with hosts, guests, and The Block’s media team
- Consistently pitched timely, relevant, and creative guest and topic ideas that align with The Block’s voice
- Demonstrated proficiency with The Block’s media tools and workflows
- Integrated into The Block’s podcast analytics and reporting workflows.
- Contributed fresh ideas for improving efficiency, workflow automation, and audience engagement
- Earned the trust to take ownership of episodes or media projects with minimal oversight

This fully remote role is open to candidates globally, though preference for Eastern timezone +- 1/2 hours.
