SMX is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Oracle Fusion Technical Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing custom reports and data extracts, implementing data conversions, and integrating Oracle Fusion Applications with third-party systems using cutting-edge tools and methodologies. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their functional requirements and transform them into seamless technical solutions using BI Publisher, OTBI, OIC, FBDI, and more. You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, bridging the gap between functional needs and system capabilities, and delivering impactful solutions that enhance enterprise operations. This position is remote but requires travel to client sites (up to 40%) based on project needs, offering a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Applications implementations

Proficiency in developing reports using BI Publisher and OTBI

Strong experience with FBDI (File-Based Data Import), FBDL, HCM Data Loaders, and APIs for data conversions

Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for building and managing integrations

Solid understanding of web services, data extracts, and data loading strategies

Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and troubleshooting

Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve integration/reporting issues
Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)

Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, and VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service)

Knowledge of Fast Formulas in Oracle Fusion HCM or other modules

Prior consulting experience in client-facing roles

Strong communication skills and the ability to translate functional needs into technical solutions

The proposed salary for this position is:
$115,700—$192,900 USD
