Who We Are

Imprint is reimagining co-branded credit cards & financial products to be smarter, more rewarding, and truly brand-first. We partner with companies like Crate & Barrel, Rakuten, Booking.com, H-E-B, Fetch, and Brooks Brothers to launch modern credit programs that deepen loyalty, unlock savings, and drive growth. Our platform combines advanced payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and seamless UX to help brands offer powerful financial products—without becoming a bank.

Co-branded cards account for over $300 billion in U.S. annual spend—but most are still powered by legacy banks. Imprint is the modern alternative: flexible, tech-forward, and built for today’s consumer. Backed by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, and Khosla Ventures, we’re building a world-class team to redefine how people pay—and how brands grow. If you want to work fast, solve hard problems, and make a real impact, we’d love to meet you.

Role Summary

As a Credit Reporting Disputes Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring our credit reporting is accurate and compliant as we scale. This role will focus on investigating disputes and implementing patches for consumer credit reports that come from both direct and indirect channels.

You’ll also own the communication process — crafting and delivering dispute resolution correspondence in accordance with FCRA / FACTA guidelines. Your clarity, operational discipline, and stakeholder communication will support our commitment to accuracy and fairness for every consumer.

What You’ll Do

Dispute Investigation & Resolution

  • Review and investigate direct and indirect credit reporting disputes that come through internal systems and bureau channels (e.g., e-OSCAR)

  • Identify and apply corrections to consumer reporting in conjunction with our reporting team

  • Document case work and investigation notes with precision while ensuring resolution timelines are met consistently.

Communications Ownership

  • Produce accurate, compliant dispute resolution communications based on Imprint templates.

  • Ensure all outgoing consumer communications are timely, clear, and reflect Imprint standards.

Compliance & Quality

  • Follow all relevant credit reporting and compliance standards (e.g., FCRA/FACTA).

  • Maintain detailed records and properly document outcomes and corrective actions.

  • Escalate trends and systemic gaps to leadership and partner teams (Risk, Operations, Compliance, Engineering).

Team Collaboration

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to highlight recurring issues and support long-term solutions.

  • Proactively suggest process improvements to reduce dispute volume and increase automation fidelity.

What Success Looks Like
  • High-quality, accurate, and timely dispute investigations and responses.

  • Consistent, clear, compliant consumer communications.

  • Commitment to maintaining a small backlog of disputes and a proactive mindset towards resolving potential issues.

Who You Are
  • 1+ years in dispute resolution, credit reporting operations, or related financial services.

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working independently.

  • Excellent written communication tailored to disputes use cases and compliance needs.

  • Familiarity with credit reporting regulations and bureau dispute platforms.

Perks & Benefits
  • Competitive compensation and equity packages

  • Leading configured work computers of your choice

  • Flexible paid time off

  • Fully covered, high-quality healthcare, including fully covered dependent coverage

  • Additional health coverage includes access to One Medical and the option to enroll in an FSA

  • 20 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary caregiver and 8 weeks for all new parents

  • Access to industry-leading technology across all of our business units, stemming from our philosophy that we should invest in resources for our team that foster innovation, optimization, and productivity
