We are seeking a talented individual to join our Fiduciary team at Marsh. This role will be based in Dublin. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The team is responsible for credit control activities, authorising payments and resolving queries in line with timeframes set within the function.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, impeccable attention to detail and be quick to pick up new systems. You will also possess a polite and courteous telephone manner, with the confidence to follow up late payments via the telephone.
We will rely on you to:
- Contribute to the achievement of Marsh Credit Control / Fiduciary function, key performance indicators (Cash collection, DRO, Bad Debts) and business objectives
- Promote and adhere to Marsh policies and procedures, in particular to ensure operational controls are carried out in accordance with laid down procedures, to ensure the ongoing mitigation of business risk
- Improve debt collection across the business in line with company targets and our T&C’s, improve DRO stats, eliminate Bad Debts
- Undertake research and investigation to resolve issues and achieve the best possible outcome for Marsh and its clients, including clearance of outstanding balances
- Build and maintain strong working relationships, including effective communication, with colleagues, clients, insurers and third parties
- Proactively handle tasks in line with specific client requirements, departmental procedures and scope of role / limits of authority
- Act upon payment conditions and deadlines as appropriate
- Manage and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and targets and maintain quality of service to Marsh and its clients
- Use a flexible and diverse approach to resolve or oversee complex and / or contentious issues
- Take responsibility for own personal development and behaviours, maintaining and improving extensive knowledge and skills.
What you will need to have:
- Previous credit control experience in a finance function or an Insurer
- Understanding of CRM/ERP systems
- High level of accuracy/attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and numerical skills and proven track record to provide a high level of customer service
- Ability to work within a team environment as a team player and a flexible approach to work
- A high degree of flexibility
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
