Position Summary:

The Creative Services Manager is responsible for shaping and elevating the visuals and storytelling standards of the MEI brand. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leading creative direction, managing projects and people, and ensuring all output reflects a consistent brand experience.

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Strategic Communications, this role serves as a strategic partner to marketing and communications leadership to bring ideas to life, from concept through execution.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Enterprise Brand Governance

  • Own and continuously evolve the company’s visual identity across all regions, services, and subsidiaries.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce enterprise-wide brand standards, guidelines, and policies.
  • Build and maintain scalable design systems, including templates for proposals, presentations, reports, and digital assets.
  • Lead brand integration efforts during mergers, acquisitions, or rebranding initiatives.


Pursuits & Business Development

  • Direct the visual strategy for high-value marketing materials including proposals (RFPs/RFQs), brochures, flyers, proposals, and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with pursuit managers, marketers, and technical teams to translate win strategies into compelling visual narratives.
  • Develop templates and tools to streamline proposal production and efficiency.

Digital Experience & Content Strategy

  • Lead visual direction for digital channels, including corporate websites, social media, and digital platforms.
  • Oversee the creation of interactive content, motion graphics, and multimedia assets where applicable.
  • Analyze performance metrics (engagement, conversion, etc.) to refine and improve visual strategies.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with executive leadership, marketing, communications, and regional teams to align creative output with strategic priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to non-design stakeholders, influencing decisions on visual communication and brand application.
  • Support internal communications, executive presentations, and thought leadership initiatives.


Innovation, Technology & Process Optimization

  • Identify and implement new tools, technologies, and workflows to enhance creative output and team efficiency (e.g., automation, AI-assisted design).
  • Standardize processes for high-volume production environments while maintaining flexibility for custom, high-impact work.
  • Continuously evaluate industry trends in both design and AEC marketing to keep the organization competitive.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce production time, improve collaboration, and increase scalability of design services.


Creative Leadership & Team Management

  • Review and guide the design and layout of marketing deliverables to ensure high quality, brand consistency, and effective visual storytelling.
  • Establish and maintain design standards, templates, and production processes that improve efficiency across marketing teams.
  • Manage project workflow and prioritize requests to ensure timely delivery in a fast-paced brokerage environment.
  • Manage external creative vendors and agencies as needed.


Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Art or Design/Visual Communications.
  • 10+ years of experience of graphic design experience, with prior leadership or people-management experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead creative strategy and execute across multiple channels.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design, campaign work, and brand development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and relevant design tools.
  • Motion graphics and video production and editing experience a plus.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Proven success working within a remote/hybrid office structure

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

This position is a full-time remote or hybrid position and most work will be performed in a home office setting. The Creative Services Manager will frequently use a computer, keyboard / mouse, cellular or office telephone, and regular business office equipment. Extended periods working in a seated position. Occasional standing or walking; lifting and moving items weighing up to ten pounds may be necessary.

Limited travel, local or to other offices within the Region supporting, required.
