Job Description:
Bring clarity to creativity—while building work that matters.
You thrive at the intersection of organization and imagination. You’re the person who brings calm to complexity, momentum to ideas, and clarity to collaboration. As a Creative Project Manager at Dentsu Creative, you’ll play a vital role in turning ambitious ideas into well‑crafted, on‑time, on‑budget work—while partnering with teams who care deeply about the craft.
You’ll support integrated creative projects from kickoff through delivery, working closely with internal teams, agency partners, and clients to keep work moving smoothly and thoughtfully. This is a hands‑on role where your project management skills, communication style, and problem‑solving mindset help great creative ideas reach their full potential.
This role is hybrid, with a preference for candidates located in New York or Chicago. You’ll balance in‑office collaboration with flexible work arrangements.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Own project timelines, scopes, and budgets across multiple creative workstreams
Lead day‑to‑day project operations, including workflows, tracking, and reporting
Partner with Resource Management to plan, allocate, and optimize team resourcing
Initiate and manage new projects, ensuring accurate setup and smooth execution from day one
Schedule and facilitate meetings, create agendas, capture notes, and drive follow‑ups
Track hours, expenses, and financial performance; collaborate on billing and financial reviews with Finance, Account, and Production teams
Proactively identify risks, solve problems, and course‑correct with confidence and care
Support quality control and ensure work is delivered with consistency and attention to detail
Use tools, technology, and emerging capabilities (including AI) to improve efficiency and workflows
Share ideas, best practices, and recommendations that help teams work smarter
Communicate clearly and thoughtfully with stakeholders, including navigating escalations
What You Bring
You don’t need to check every box to be successful here. What matters most is your curiosity, organization, and ability to bring people together around shared goals.
You likely bring:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2–4 years of experience in project management or associate project management within an integrated agency or similar environment
A working understanding of integrated campaign tactics and how creative work flows across channels
Strong planning, organization, and time‑management skills in deadline‑driven environments
Experience collaborating with cross‑disciplinary teams and navigating diverse working styles
The ability to manage multiple projects at once without losing sight of quality or detail
Core project management strengths in organization, facilitation, communication, and relationship‑building
Comfort participating in or leading cross‑agency teams
Familiarity with low‑ to mid‑complexity project lifecycles and review/approval processes
Passion for the work, the people, and the creative process
Strong organizational and presentation skills
A proactive mindset focused on solutions, progress, and continuous learning
If this role feels like a place where you can grow, contribute, and leave your mark, we’d love to meet you. Join us—and help shape what’s next in creativity.
