The Creative Producer will oversee project flow, manage design timelines and assets, collaborate with design and marketing, and enhance operational processes.
About PIP Labs & Story
PIP Labs is the team behind Story, a Layer 1 blockchain purpose-built for intellectual property. Story enables creators to register IP on-chain and define usage terms in seconds, removing the friction and complexity of traditional legal systems.
By making IP programmable, Story transforms intellectual property into a transparent, decentralized, and global network where creators, developers, and AI agents can license and monetize ideas through a simple API call.
Our Design team shapes how Story comes to life in the world. From product launches to cultural activations, we’re building a brand that resonates with creators, developers, and communities at the forefront of internet culture.
The Role
We’re looking for a Creative Producer to act as the operational heartbeat of our design team. You’ll own project flow from kickoff to delivery, ensuring assets, timelines, and priorities stay clear, organized, and achievable.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Head of Design to turn creative direction into action. You’ll manage deadlines, anticipate blockers, and help the team deliver exceptional work without chaos. Think of this as part producer, part project manager, part problem-solver, the person who keeps the creative trains running on time.
You’ll thrive here if you can manage complexity with calm, say no when needed, and love collaborating across design, marketing, and product in a startup environment.
What You'll Do:
- Drive the end-to-end production process for design projects, from marketing campaigns to brand assets to landing pages.
- Act as the primary point of contact between design and marketing, ensuring briefs, timelines, and deliverables are clear.
- Prioritize and schedule design work based on capacity, urgency, and company goals.
- Manage resources, including contractors, ensuring new contributors are onboarded and aligned quickly.
- Maintain project documentation (Gantt charts, trackers, status updates) so everyone stays informed.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and propose solutions before they become blockers.
- Ensure the creative team has the information, assets, and clarity they need to do their best work.
- Help refine and implement processes that scale as the team grows.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in creative production, design operations, or project management, ideally at a startup, agency, or design-forward tech company.
- A sharp sense of organization and prioritization; you love keeping complex projects moving smoothly.
- Comfort pushing back when timelines or expectations are unrealistic.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across design, marketing, and leadership.
- A background in creative or design environments (you understand design language and process).
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on behalf of leadership when needed.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on design or creative production experience (Figma, Adobe, etc.)
- Experience in Web3, gaming, or digital media projects.
- Agency background, accustomed to fast turnarounds and shifting priorities.
