WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a talented and versatile writer who can transform technical or straightforward descriptions of our work into compelling narratives that resonate with clients, partners, and stakeholders. This role is about more than documentation—it is about bringing our services and impact to life through clear, accurate, and engaging storytelling. The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate complex subject matter into accessible, client-focused content while maintaining precision and professionalism. This individual will collaborate closely with internal subject matter experts to capture meaningful details and shape them into polished case studies, success stories, website content, and other communications that highlight the value we deliver. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in how our organization presents itself externally, helping to ensure that our brand voice is both professional and memorable.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience writing and/or editing documents
- A Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Experience in the federal contracting sector a plus.
- Strong writing and editing skills with proven experience in both creative and professional/business writing.
- Ability to translate technical or detailed information into engaging, story-driven content.
- Experience writing case studies, client success stories, or brand storytelling preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio showcasing both creative and professional writing samples.
- Proven ability to transform technical service descriptions and processes into engaging, client-centered narratives.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with experience creating case studies, blog posts, website copy, and other marketing content.
- Skilled in interviewing and collaborating with team members to capture authentic stories, client outcomes, and detailed project information.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain consistency with organizational brand voice—professional, clear, and personable.
- Adept at balancing technical accuracy with creative storytelling to effectively communicate impact.
