We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.

Xylem is seeking a hands-on Senior Manager, OneStream Finance Systems (Hands-On, Global CPM) to own and evolve our global Corporate Performance Management (CPM) platform. This role is responsible for the end-to-end leadership, technical development, and operational integrity of OneStream — the system that consolidates enterprise financials and supports SEC reporting, internal management reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.

This is a player-coach role requiring deep OneStream technical expertise, strong people leadership, and the ability to partner with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and IT in a highly visible, mission-critical environment.

What You’ll Own

Platform Ownership & Leadership

  • Serve as the global owner of the OneStream application, supporting corporate financial consolidation, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analytics.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a global, diverse CPM systems team, fostering strong technical capability and business partnership.

  • Establish best practices for system governance, change management, and scalability.

Hands-On OneStream Development

  • Actively design, build, and enhance OneStream solutions including:

    • Business rules, calculations, and workflows (.NET / VB.NET / evolving to C#)

    • Data connectors, integrations, and automation routines

    • Dashboards, cube views, forms, drill-throughs, and security

  • Support architectural changes and performance optimization as the platform scales.

Financial Close & Operational Excellence

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, ensuring accuracy, stability, and on-time delivery.

  • Troubleshoot complex system and data issues during close and planning cycles.

  • Partner with Accounting to support balance sheet reconciliations and controls.

Planning, Forecasting & Analytics Enablement

  • Enable enterprise budgeting, forecasting, and weekly flash reporting across all entities.

  • Support FP&A initiatives including automated forecasting, AI/ML-driven insights, and expanded profitability reporting.

Enterprise Projects & Transformation

  • Lead OneStream-related initiatives tied to:

    • SAP S/4HANA integrations and profit center reporting

    • New allocations and modeling enhancements

    • Ongoing CPM modernization and automation efforts

Compliance, Controls & Enablement

  • Ensure OneStream processes support SOX compliance, audit requirements, and internal controls.

  • Develop training, documentation, and user support models for global stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on CPM/EPM experience, with deep OneStream expertise strongly preferred.

  • Proven experience developing in OneStream, including business rules, integrations, dashboards, and workflows.

  • Strong programming experience in VB.NET and/or C#, plus advanced SQL skills.

  • Experience supporting SEC-facing financial reporting and enterprise consolidations.

  • Demonstrated experience leading and coaching technical teams in a global environment.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • OneStream certifications

  • Experience supporting SAP (S/4HANA) integrations

  • Exposure to AI/ML-enabled financial planning or advanced analytics

  • Background in large, complex, multinational organizations

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
