  • Partner with department managers to develop, adjust, and monitor budgets by analysing fixed costs (surcharges, salaries, overhead allocations) and variable costs (materials, packaging, freight, consumables).
  • Assist with journal entries, cost‑center reviews, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities to ensure timely and accurate month‑end closure.
  • Support the annual budgeting cycle, prepare cost models, and provide documentation and analysis required for external financial audits.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, logistics, procurement, and quality teams to validate cost assumptions, improve data accuracy, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyse scrap, rework, and machine downtime to identify cost‑saving opportunities and support operational teams in implementing corrective actions.
  • Apply knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and consistency across reporting and cost‑analysis activities.
  • Use SAP FI, CO, and COPA modules, along with MS Excel and BW Reporting, to extract data, build cost models, and prepare detailed financial and operational reports.
  • Other duties as required.
