Counsel and prepares, reviews, and approves a wide range of business contracts. Representing First
Advantage's interests, he/she evaluates contractual risks, works with internal and external teams on
contract negotiations, and finds resolutions to issues in order to enter into mutually beneficial
agreements. This individual also ensures that activities, policies, business practices, and transactions
comply with all relevant laws and regulations. This position requires a highly organized individual with
excellent attention to detail. This individual must have the ability to work independently on projects and
manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

The salary range for this position is approximately $70,000-$80,000 base annually. Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and approve legal contracts and other documents to protect the organization's legal and business interests.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to revise contracts and modify standard terms and conditions to mutually benefit First Advantage and its customers.
- Represent First Advantage in contract negotiations with external clients and partners; serve as an advocate for the company's business interests.
- Assist in the revision of standard form contracts and the development of new form contracts that advance the organization's strategic interests in creating repetitive business transactions.
- Provide analysis and counsel on existing policies and the development of new policies.
- Perform legal research assignments and manage special projects as needed.
What You Will Need to be Successful:
- JD from an American Bar Association accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in any of the 50 states
- 3+ years of corporate contracting experience, with at least 2 years specifically involving sales/procurement of services preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:
- Experience with FCRA, GDPR and consumer protection laws preferred
- Training in and understanding of common business, technical, financial, and legal practices
- Strong knowledge of contract management principles and guidelines
- Analytical skills relative to contract information and related matters
- Ability to evaluate risk, urgency, and prioritize tasks
- Strong organizational ability and a demonstrated track record of managing urgent projects concurrently
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Proven excellence in written and verbal communication and the ability to convey complex information
- Demonstrated ability to formulate new ways of doing things in a resourceful way
- Ability to develop and maintain executive-level relationships
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the company, while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with set processes and procedures
