Corporate Development Representative
We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Corporate Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will support the company's growth initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, investments, and partnerships. The Corporate Development Representative will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions and support due diligence, financial analysis, and deal execution.

Corporate Development Representative
We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Corporate Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will support the company's growth initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, investments, and partnerships. The Corporate Development Representative will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions and support due diligence, financial analysis, and deal execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- · Contact potential targets through calls, emails, and social connections.
- · Proactively seek new business opportunities and ways of contacting targets in the market.
- · Identify target interests and driving motivations and set up meetings between potential targets and the VP of Corporate Development or other Courser leadership.
- · Maintain our CRM, Salesforce, and track target discussion progress and follow ups.
- · Report weekly/monthly/quarterly activity (# of targets contacted via calls, emails, LinkedIn) to the VP of Corporate Development.
- · Travel occasionally to meet with targets and attend industry events.
- · Stay up-to-date with Courser’s growth and initiatives through interactions with Courser’s management team.
- · Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as potential opportunities.
Preferred Experience / Qualifications:
- · Preferred experience with SalesForce as a CRM
- · Motivated and competitive sales professional. You are driven by winning situations and pushing yourself to positive results.
- · Ability to communicate effectively over the phone and basic computer skills.
- · Energized about telling the Courser story.
- · Is exceptional at prioritizing and managing your time in an extremely fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- · Intrigued at the prospect of contributing to building our company’s inorganic growth strategy and growing by way of acquisition.
- · Fluent in Office 365 applications.
- · Holds a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
