Position Summary

ID Logistics is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel, Commercial Contracts to join our growing U.S. legal team, reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer. This mid-level, in-house role is ideal for an attorney with 5+ years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering closely with the business. The Corporate Counsel will play a key role in supporting a rapidly expanding global third‑party logistics company by drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial agreements. Primary contract types include master warehousing agreements, statements of work, amendments, real estate leases, estoppels, NDAs, and vendor agreements. In addition, this role may support employmentrelated matters and litigation oversight in partnership with internal colleagues and outside counsel, on an as needed basis.


Location: Remote within the state of North Carolina, New Jersey, Georgia, or Pennsylvania is strongly preferred. We are hiring for 1 role.

Work Schedule: M-F 8AM-5PM with flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed based on business needs.

Travel Specifics: 15%

Competitive Compensation: $135,000 - $145,000 per year based on individual experience plus a yearly performance-based bonus, along with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company matching, generous PTO, sick time, and company holidays.

This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Relocation is not offered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee contract management for the U.S. division, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with Fortune 500 customers, lessors, and vendors.
  • Serve as a trusted legal partner to internal stakeholders by providing practical, business-oriented legal advice.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks through well-drafted contractual arrangements.
  • Balance risk mitigation with enabling business objectives; find practical ways to get to "yes" while protecting the company.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to meet competing and evolving business needs.
  • Deliver transparent, timely reporting to leadership and operational teams.
  • Contribute to process improvements and help build scalable legal infrastructure as the organization grows.
  • Update contractual policies, templates, and procedures as needed to ensure alignment with current laws and business practices.
  • Manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement when appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school within the United States.
  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
  • 5+ years of legal experience, with a strong background in commercial contracting including bespoke legal drafting.
  • Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex, high‑value commercial contracts from scratch without templates.
  • Excellent writing, negotiation, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a small, collaborative legal team.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to translate legal concepts into practical, actionable guidance.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and contract management tools such as DocuSign or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • In‑house experience within a corporate legal department, particularly supporting commercial contracting.
  • Residence in North Carolina, New Jersey, Georgia, or Pennsylvania (role is remote, but preference given to these locations).
  • Experience with employmentrelated matters and litigation oversight or willingness to learn and be involved in these matters as needed is strongly preferred.
