In this role, you will:
- Participate in structuring and executing transactions and supporting more senior staff with financial and credit analysis for assigned portfolio of loans
- Assist senior bankers with the creation of pitch and other marketing materials
- Present recommendations for growing and maintaining a portfolio of profitable clients in assigned market through proactive, strategic and consistent business development and client retention
- Perform, or guide, credit underwriting work accounting for all risk factors and providing risk rating recommendations
- Represent the bank in developing and maintaining relationships with smaller or less complex clients
- Review and interpret credit policies and procedures and incorporate requirements into credit analysis, observations and lending recommendations
- Collaborate and consult with peers, internal partners and stakeholders, including clients
- Support the development and ongoing management of relationships with the most important and financially complex clients
- Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to deliver the full suite of WF products and services including, but not limited to credit, capital markets, treasury management, macro solutions, global receivables & trade, and ABF
- Manage direct client interaction, including directing and coordinating execution of transactions with key product partners
- Provide support to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
- 2+ years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in portfolio management CIB Portfolio Management experience, including experience with workout credits and leveraged lending
- Strong credit, accounting and technical skills
- Demonstrated excellence in working effectively as an individual and as part of a team
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of initiative and accountability
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Ability to act with integrity, good character and exercise sound judgement
- Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
- Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
- Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
