How you will impact the organization…

The CorpIT Engineer IV is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's corporate systems infrastructure. This includes the physical systems infrastructure as well as  the virtual systems infrastructure. The CorpIT Engineer will work closely with the other members of the Corp IT team to ensure that corporate systems infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable.


The value you will deliver…

  • Design, implement, and maintain the company's multi-platform corporate systems infrastructure.
  • Manage physical and virtual systems including Windows Server, RDS, and related Active Directory functions.  
  • Support for Back Office apps: Prophix, Oracle Financials, Mitel, Salesforce, and proprietary applications.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all physical and virtual assets by location.
  • Manage colocation infrastructure within DCIM and ITAM provisioning and tracking software, such as Jira Insight.
  • Vendor management, inventory control, maintenance coordination, logistics, and license management.
  • Monitor all corporate systems for performance and security issues.
  • Troubleshoot corporate infrastructure problems and resolve outages whenever encountered.
  • Implement security patches and updates adhering to current best practices. 
  • Build upon efficiencies and automation to improve SLAs and responsiveness to business needs.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, providing support during off hours for incident escalation and resolution.
  • Develop standards (e.g. naming conventions, system configuration, methods and practices, etc.) for server assets.
  • Promote teamwork within the team and foster cooperation with other groups and departments. 
  • Resolve open service requests and maintain accurate status in the Jira ticketing system in a timely manner.
  • Prepare project documentation, status reporting, and procedural reports as required. 
  • Communicate information through effective written and oral communication and presentations.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets.  This includes expenses as well as capital budget items.  
  • Participate in change and production control processes.
  • Work with the other members of the Operations team to ensure that the corporate infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Consensus reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

What you will bring to the table…

  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator in a multi-platform environment.
  • 4+ years experience with remote and international support strategies.  
  • 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator in a cloud-resident SaaS organization.
  • 3+ years experience designing and implementing highly available enterprise applications utilizing shared storage technologies (NetApp a plus).
  • 3+ years experience designing and implementing projects including Windows AD,  Azure, RDS, SQL and AWS technologies.
  • Current working experience with Google Workspace and Azure Active Directory.
  • Design, implement, and maintain the company's multi-platform corporate systems infrastructure.

  • Support for Back Office apps: Google Workspace Enterprise, OneLogin,  Secret Server, Oracle Financials, Salesforce, and proprietary applications.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all physical and virtual assets by location.
  • Manage colocation infrastructure within DCIM and ITAM provisioning and tracking software, such as Jira Insight.
  • Vendor management, inventory control, maintenance coordination, logistics, and license management.

  • MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent certifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

You will stand out if you also have…

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Ansible or a similar server deployment automation tools.
  • UNIX/LINUX, NetAPP administration experience.
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator

Additional details…

  • Location requirements: Fully remote within the US 
  • Travel requirements: Up to 20% travel. Ability to travel to DTLA & Chandler AZ, as needed 
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time.
  • Technology requirements: Reliable, high speed internet
  • Eligible for sponsorship: No

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$110,000 USD annually.  The total compensation package for this position is negotiable and may also include annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits. This job doesn't have an expiration date and will remain open until a qualified candidate is hired.
