We are reinventing what education looks like in the age of AI, and we're looking for a Copywriter Intern to support marketing and communication efforts across various channels.
RevoU is one of the most recognizable brands in career education in Indonesia, with one of the largest learning audiences and co-branded programs with top universities. We also partner with leading enterprises across Indonesia to drive AI transformation and enablement across their workforces.
That brand, distribution and trust is our foundation, and every piece of copy we put out either strengthens it or chips away at it. In this role, you will write clear, compelling copy and create simple supporting visuals that help strengthen our brand narrative and campaign performance.
You'll work closely with the marketing team across active programs and campaigns, moving between quick-turnaround channel copy and more considered brand storytelling, while learning how a fast-moving marketing team actually operates day to day.
π― What You Will DoWrite engaging copy for email, WhatsApp, landing pages, and other marketing channels β in Bahasa Indonesia and English
Create simple visuals (static posts, banners, infographics) using Canva or Figma to support your copy
Work closely with the marketing team to keep messaging consistent and impactful
Adapt tone and style for different audiences while staying true to RevoU brand voice
Contribute fresh ideas for campaigns, content themes, and communication strategies
π Please note: This is a Work From Home (WFH) role.
β RequirementsMust-haves:
A genuine love of writing. You can't help but notice when a sentence is clunky or a headline is flat. You enjoy the craft of finding the right word, the right hook, the right tone, not just filling space with copy.
You've written for a real audience before. Whether it's a student org, a personal blog, social media, a campus publication, or a past internship, you've put words out into the world and thought about how someone else would read them. Tell us about a piece of copy or content you're proud of, and why it worked.
Comfortable in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. You can switch tone and register naturally between the two, and you know that a good translation is a rewrite, not a word-for-word copy.
A strong bias for action. You don't wait for a perfect brief before starting. You ask good questions, make reasonable assumptions, and produce a draft, then iterate fast based on feedback.
AI isn't just something you talk about, it's part of how you work. You use AI tools throughout your writing process β for research, drafting, rewriting, and exploring different angles β and you use AI-assisted tools (e.g. Canva AI features) to speed up producing simple visuals, all while still applying your own judgment on what's actually good.
Basic visual sense. You don't need to be a designer, but you understand layout, hierarchy, and how to put together a clean static post or banner in Canva or Figma that matches a brand's look and feel.
Nice to have:
Experience with Canva or Figma for basic content design
Familiarity with email or WhatsApp marketing tools
Interest or coursework in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
A portfolio or writing samples (social captions, articles, scripts, ad copy, etc.)
We care far more about how you think and write than about your years of experience or your major. If you're early in your journey but genuinely sharp with words, we want to talk.
π What we offerHands-on experience writing for one of the most recognizable brands and largest audiences in Indonesia
Exposure to real campaigns across multiple programs, not just training exercises
Mentorship from a marketing team that ships fast and gives direct feedback
An environment where AI is the default way of working, not a buzzword
A foundation of practical copywriting and content skills to carry into your next role
